Marketing Yourself: Clever Way to Get Over the Daunting Refferal Push

 Do you constantly think about future business plans, and your ‘get to later’ projects? Well this has an effect on how you function in the future. I dare you to sit down for 30 minutes and brainstorm fun new activities that you have not done with your business to do now.

For example: Our office decided to find a better solution into getting more referrals. Previously, we had sent out a card, with a short letter, that asked to fill it out the form for possible future clients. We figured there would be more pouring in if we gave an incentive with it.  So this was the game plan:

We found a local business that would support our promotion and got to the nitty gritty of the plan. On the ‘coupon’ or ‘redeem here’ card we placed a few spaces for referrals to go. The trick is: You cannot redeem your promotional item unless there is at least one referral on it. And finally, at last, we had more referrals pouring in.

 It took us about a week to think about ways, and this one was definitely a winner! It wasn’t put on the back burner; therefore we got more referrals, faster!
